Managed by wonderful volunteers who have a specific passion for our environment and sustainability, working closely with the school to understand ways & opportunities where we can make a difference.
Current initiatives include:
- Compost bins around the school;
- Seasonal vegetable gardens, managed by the Landcare Group & sold through the office – all profits reinvested;
- Installation of new recycling bins to mirror kerbside recycling colours to help educate children on recycling – installation imminent; and
- Grounds Working Bee – working in collaboration with the school, we are looking to reintroduce a session to focus on general garden maintenance
